How toReplace the potentiometer

                                Remove the potentiometer from the potentiometer bracket.

                                * When installing the potentiometer, position the potentiometer terminals at the
                                top.

                              The potentiometer (for left-right) is the same in external appearance. Be-
                                    fore replacing, check the harness colors.

                                To install, follow the removal sequence in reverse.

                              When installing the potentiometer, align the at section on the potenti-
                                    ometer shaft with the position of the double-point screw.

                 
                                After the replacement, be sure to perform initialization. (See P. 47 “7-8
                                    Gun Assy adjustment (initialization) after parts replacement.”)
